The CalvertHealth Gala Committee has been dedicated to raising funds for CalvertHealth for 32 years. That hasn’t changed, even in the midst of current restrictions due to COVID-19. While we can’t gather in person, we are together in spirit.

From now through December 31, we are asking our community to help raise $250,000 for our $5.2 million renovation to the CalvertHealth Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit. This means that if 250 community members donate $1,000, we could meet our goal!

We are also very excited to announce that thanks to an anonymous donor, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $250,000. This generous gift will allow the CalvertHealth Foundation to double the impact of our fundraising efforts, potentially raising more than $500,000!

CalvertHealth Medical Center is the only hospital in Southern Maryland that offers inpatient and outpatient mental health services for adolescents, aged 13 to 17. CalvertHealth also offers adult mental health service to those 18 years of age and above. This campaign will ensure that adolescents and adults alike receive separate, secure, age-appropriate, therapeutic environments to those needing inpatient care and/or outpatient day treatment services. This effort will have a significant impact on the growing number of people — both young and old — who seek behavioral health services at our local community hospital.

Your support of this important initiative will help us provide these much-needed services to our patients as they seek mental health treatment. Join us and be a leader in providing behavioral health services to our community.

Thank you in advance for supporting CalvertHealth as we work to support those in our community who need our services the most.
