Scholarships
The CalvertHealth Foundation Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to students who are pursuing higher education in medicine and allied health fields. The Foundation has awarded more than 510 scholarships totaling $755,000 to area students pursuing higher education in medicine and allied health fields. The applications must be postmarked on or before April 15. Monies are awarded in July.
Allied Health Scholarship Fund
Funded by a generous endowment from the Calvert Arundel Medical Facilities, Inc., this scholarship supports the continuing education efforts of local students in pursuit of their chosen allied health field.
Applications for an Allied Health Scholarship must be postmarked on or before April 15 of each year. In order to apply, you must have been accepted at an accredited school of nursing or other allied health curriculum offering a course of study leading to licensure as a practical or registered nurse or other allied-health related classification
and commit to work at CalvertHealth for a period of no less than 24 months.

Allied Health Scholarship Application
E. Anne Spitzer, MD Memorial Scholarship
Applications for the E. Anne Spitzer, MD Memorial Scholarship are due by April 30 of each year. In order to apply have been admitted in to an accredited medical school at the time of application with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Applicants must have graduated from a Calvert County High School.
- Recipients are not required to repay the Foundation or accept employment.
- Applicants must reapply each year.
