Gifts of Cash

Gifts of cash are accepted in person at the CalvertHealth Foundation. Gifts made by check or credit cards can be made in person, online here or by mail to PO Box 2127, Prince Frederick, MD, 20678.

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of stock can be easily facilitated by requesting a copy of the Foundation’s stock transfer instructions by calling 410.414.4570 or via email at foundation@calverthealthmed.org.

Gifts of Appreciated Assets

In conjunction with the CalvertHealth Foundation’s Gift Acceptance Policy, gifts of appreciated assets, such as real estate, can have a significant impact on CalvertHealth Medical Center and provide an option to donors who wish to give a major gift while preserving their cash on hand. To discuss a potential gift of an appreciated asset, please contact CalvertHealth Foundation Executive Director Theresa Johnson at 410.535.8178.

Event Sponsorships

Corporate and individual sponsorships are a great way to support the Foundation while demonstrating to the community your commitment to giving back. The Foundation hosts several events annually and each offers a range of unique sponsorship opportunities. Combined Federal Campaign

CalvertHealth is a participant in the federal employees Combined Federal Campaign. Simply choose the CalvertHealth Foundation as a participating member. The Foundation’s CFC number is 12801.

Matching Gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs, increasing the overall benefit to the hospital. Find out if your company will match your donation to the CalvertHealth Foundation by reaching out to your Human Resources Department.

Planned Giving

Planned giving can take on many forms including designating the CalvertHealth Foundation in a will with a bequest; naming CalvertHealth Foundation as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy or retirement plan; or establishing a charitable trust. Many planned gifts provide tax benefits today and to the donor’s heirs. Naming Opportunities

CalvertHealth Foundation maintains a listing of all available opportunities throughout the CalvertHealth Medical Center for donors to name a room or area of the medical center. Contact the Foundation office for a complete list of available opportunities and to schedule a tour of the hospital to view areas open for naming.

Giving Societies

Your generosity builds a society of philanthropy and is recognized in one of our Giving Societies. To celebrate, CalvertHealth has created the Legacy Donor Program honoring your donations to the Foundation at all levels. Cumulative gifts will be totaled annually and celebrated throughout the year. Our societies represent a lifetime of giving and recognize our loyal friends whose extraordinary generosity preserves and enhances CalvertHealth’s commitment to excellence in health care.
